Nike’s legendary Air Max 95 celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, and as well as the much-appreciate ‘Neon’ retro that every Air Max enthusiast was craving, we also got a slew of more low-key heater iterations to whet our appetite for the 95. And the enthusiasm hasn’t waned in 2021, with the latest to grace our screens being this lightly-hued joint that’s sure to brighten your day. But if it doesn’t, the name ‘Happy Pineapple’ and tongue branding will.
Beaverton have leaned right into the tropical theme with this mix of colours. Using a suede base, Team Swoosh have also thrown in some leather to highlight the brown strip that graces each side, matching the gum midsole down below. Bright tonal pops of green and pink sit perfectly against the off-white-almost-yellow base.
Completing the vibe is the embroidered ‘Happy Pineapple’ that can be seen on the tongue, and ‘94430’ on the toe box, which after a quick Google search appears to be the number that categorises a pineapple’s size. But, we’ll confirm that when Nike drops these.
So far, an exact release date for the Nike Air Max 95 ‘Happy Pineapple’ is unavailable, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated when they drop.
