Back in the early 2010s, the Foamposite was a key driver of sneaker culture. Variations like the “Galaxy” Foamposite and others sparked the return of the Penny Hardaway favorite. Fast forward to 2021, Nike has big plans for the retro Hoops silhouette, beginning with the electrifying return of the Nike Foamposite “Volt”.
Originally released in 2014, this Foamposite retro features the famous bulky design dressed in “Volt.” Black accents are found on the heel branding and the carbon fiber midfoot plate, toning down the otherwise loud colorway. Duel heel tabs and a translucent outsole complete the design.
The Nike Air Foamposite “Volt” is set for a January 27 release on Nike.com.
