While the Air Max 90 has gotten a majority of the attention for this year’s Air Max Day celebration, Nike will be using the Air Max 1 as the canvas for this “City Pack” arriving next week.
The pair of colorways releasing references Amsterdam and London for inspiration. Both styles feature materials not typically used on the running model including suede on the toe, premium tumbled leather on the sides, as well as corduroy on the heel counter. Additional details for each pair are found on the heel, with the Thames River for London and the outline of the Canals of Amsterdam for the other.
This latest Nike Air Max 1 “City Pack” is slated to release on Nike.com and at select Nike Sportswear stockists on March 19 for $160 each.
