Jerry Lorenzo and Nike Basketball are already prepping for their next collaboration. The upcoming Air Fear of God Shoot Around is expected to drop sometime this Summer, dressed in a fresh “Wheat Gold” colorway.
Similar to its “Light Bone,” “Black/Black” and “Black/White” predecessors, this iteration of the Air Fear of God SA maintains its minimal design defined by heel zippers, high ankle collars and an ankle-wrapped lacing system secured by a lace toggle. The upper’s bright golden wheat shade provides the perfect contrast to the glossy black Swoosh logo on the lateral sides. Finishing up the design of the shoes is a Sail double-stacked Zoom Air unit. Official photos have yet to be released.
The Nike Air Fear of God SA in “Wheat Gold” is set to release this Summer for $300 USD on nike.com and at select retailers.
In other Fear of God news, drop date rumors for the FOG 1 in “Amarillo” have been circulating the internet.
UPDATE: Jerry Lorenzo took it to Instagram to debunk rumors of an upcoming “Wheat Gold” Fear of God SA, which he called them the “Garden Glove Yellow”, would not be releasing in the near future. His exact caption was, “Yes, we sampled this #GardenGloveYellow Shoot Around. No, it’s never been confirmed. Please stop believing photoshops.”
While he addressed that “Wheat Gold” SA, he didn’t mention rumors of the “Amarillo” Air Fear of God 1 that is expected to release sometime in April. Stay tuned for updates.
