In the women’s sneaker scene the Nike Air Force 1 Shadow has risen to popularity as a modern, deconstructed edit of the quintessential AF1. Less discussed is a chopped-and-screwed take on the classic Nike Dunk— the women’s exclusive Disrupt. With the release of a new Copa/White-Black-Metallic Silver colorway, the new-age silhouette may become a new favorite among Nike’s female audience.
The pair is dressed in a perforated white base and upper that is accented by suede details colored in a “Copa,” a bright aquamarine shade. A distinct black swoosh decorates the sides without being too overwhelming, as the aqua bits cage the swoosh. The midsole’s extra dimension further animates the shoe, with the stark white contrasting the model’s sides. Adding to the list of the silhouette’s surprises, the model opts for a pebbled leather heel tab, which deviates from the aforementioned textures. A translucent—almost icy—outsole and a gem-like dubrae piece add subtle final flair to the model.
Expect to find a pair available for a limited time via select Nike retailers and Nike.com for a retail price of $110. Check out the official images below and stay tuned for more details.
