The Nike Air Max 95 gets a ‘Kaomoji’ makeover

Nike will soon debut a new Air Max 95 dubbed ‘Kaomoji.’ For those that don’t know, Kaomoji is a popular Japanese emoticon style made up of Japanese characters and grammar. Also, it’s used in texting or any electronic communication.

Looking closer, this Nike Air Max 95 features velcro and leather overlays that display shades of White, Blue, and Purple. Following, Black mesh runs across the upper, and more White runs across the velcro tongue. Speaking of the tongue, it has four-dots that represent typing when sending a text message.

The pair also comes with ‘Kaomojis’ that can be placed on the panels, sides, or anywhere velcro runs. On the insoles, we have a speech bubble and Volt accents throughout. Lastly, a White midsole and Black rubber outsole finish the look.
