For Spring 2024, Nike Sportswear is looking to take the sneaker world by storm once again by bringing the “Galaxy” Foams back in 2024. The Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” made its debut in 2012 for NBA All-Star Weekend and has become one of the most sought-after sneakers of all-time, and is certainly the most popular Foamposite to ever release.
Originally taking part of the Nike “All-Star” collection that also included the KD 4, Kobe 7, LeBron 9, Dunk High, and Air Flight One. Seven years later, the Zoom Rookie returned with the same mesmerizing “Galaxy” graphic. While no leaked photos have surfaced, the Nike Air Foamposite One is expected to look exactly like the 2012 release. If any changes were to be, it would be minor, mainly in the materials used.
The 2024 “Galaxy” Nike Air Foamposite One will feature the iconic Galaxy print across its Foamposite shell with Black on the eyestays. Other details includes a mini embroidered Swoosh on the toe with Penny’s 1 Cent logo appearing on the tongue, heel, and outsole. A carbon fiber midfoot shank plate atop its signature glow-in-the-dark rubber outsole completes the design. The shoe is also expected to come with the “Remove Before Flight” tag.
