Last year, we saw the Dunk Low and Air Griffey 1 Cleat release. For 2023, Nike Sportswear will celebrate Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play in Major League Baseball, by releasing this Air Force 1.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low features the same color blocking as the Brooklyn Dodgers uniforms. Highlighting the shoes, we have Jackies number 42 embroidered on the heel, the team’s logo embroidered on the tongue, and lace dubraes that have the year Jackie broke the color barrier (1947) and the year he retired (1956). Next, ‘Change The World’ text lands on the laces, with baseball seams stitched on the heel tabs. Finishing the look is a speckled midsole and a semi-translucent Gum rubber outsole
